Museum Opens: Memorial Weekend

Fire Tower History: “Fire Tower History in the U.S., New York State & Locally” is presented by Laurie Rankin. On Saturday June 4th, 2022, at 7 p.m. at the Lake Pleasant Library 2864 Route 8, Speculator, NY. (518) 548-4411

Rhinelander Estate Tour (July 26): 10a.m. Town of Lake Pleasant Historian (Aaron Weaver) will be giving a short history of the Rhinelander’s Ruins. Then Dave McComb will guide you to and through the ruins of the old Rhinelander Estate.

2p.m. Special guest and author (Dennis Webster) of the book (Haunted Adirondacks) will be giving a lecture of his experience at the Rhinelander Ruins and other experiences he had. He will also be signing and selling his books.

Museum Open House (July 23): 11a.m. – 2p.m. The Town of Lake Pleasant Historical Museum is having an Open House.
Free Admission! A purchase of a $10 Membership to the Historical Society comes with a $5 Voucher for food provided by the CAMPSTORE.

Onondaga, Turtle Clan – Storyteller (August 9): Perry Ground is an Onondaga Storyteller of the Turtle Clan of the Iroquois Nation: Event located at the Speculator Pavilion and/or Ball Field. 1p.m. Talk about the Life in a Longhouse. 6pm Stories of the Iroquois Nation (Haudenosaunee).    Facebook 

Moffett’s Gravesite Tour (August 16): 10 am, Hamilton County Historian, Ernie Virgil, will be giving a tour and history of the Moffett’s Memorial. (More Info To Come)
