The Town’s History Museum is located on the northern side of route 8 in the Village of Speculator, Hamilton County, New York. The building was the first Lake Pleasant Town Hall and the First Town Library. Today the building is used as a Museum and used to store historical research.
Memorial Weekend: Friday & Saturday
June – August: Tuesdays (2pm – 4pm) , Fridays & Saturdays (10am – 2pm)
The Museum is also open by appointment or when the OPEN FLAG is flying. For an appointment, call our local historians or Museum Manager, Shorty Hoffman.
