Year 2014:

May: Museum’s First Day to Open

July 5th: 4th of July Historical Society’s Parade Float.

July 15th: Caning of the Chairs Presentation, by: Linda’s Antiques & Collectables. @ Lake Pleasant School, 7pm, Free Admition and Beverages.

July 15th: Rhinelander Tour. Come and visit the old ruins of the haunted Rhinelander estate. We will meet at the Historical Museum around 10am and will carpool to the historic location.

Aug 8th: “The Adirondacks & It’s Wildlife” Presented by Don Leadley. @ Lake Pleasant Central School 2pm.

Aug 9-10: Civil War Re-enactment @ Speculator Ball Field.

August 19th: Gilman Town Tour. Learn the history about a forgotten Adirondack Town, known as Gilman Town. Meet at the Historical Museum and carpool to the historic area.

September 27th: Apple Fest. Come to the Apple Fest, Full of Family Activities, Food, Venders, Games, and much more. Get into the autumn spirit.

October 25th: Cemetery Tour. At Fish Mountain Cemetery. Come and meet people of the past and learn their stories. 7pm

November 28th: Black Friday Open House. We will have Cookies and Punch, plus fundraisers on sale.

November : Last Day the Museum will be open this year.
