The Historical Society of Lake Pleasant & Speculator is a non-profit organization who’s goal is to:
1. Raise Funds and provide service to further development of local historical information and artifacts.
2. Collect and preserve local genealogical records.
3. Promote the Town’s Historical Museum.
4. Provide the Town’s Historical Museum with resources and services.
5. Present programs of historical interest to the community
Below is a video on one of the reenactments we held in Speculator. We wanted to educate our local communities on the lives of people during the American Revolution.
